Family of Three {Clark is ONE!}

Posted on April 15, 2013

Clark and my son Jackson go to daycare together and his Mommy and I work together. There are so many ways we are connected to this sweet family. Clark is the HAPPIEST  baby! We met a few weeks ago on a gorgeous day, but the wind picked up and the temp dropped pretty quickly. They toughed it out and we made the best of the Winter…I mean Spring day{it was hard to tell during that week which season we were in!}.

Loving his little bow tie and big baby blues!

 Playing peek-a-boo! :)

What to Wear ~ Seniors{Pantone Color of the Year!}

Posted on February 15, 2013

I always love helping my clients pick outfits to wear for their sessions. Whether it is going through their closet before the shoot, or exchanging text messages with images while they are on a shopping trip, it is fun to be able to help my clients feel good about what they are choosing. I love using Pinterest as well. You can see an article about this in last year’s {twelve} Magazine on Page 17. Follow me on Pinterest to see the latest trends! Each of the outfits below can be found on our Seniors What to Wear Board also!

For this What to Wear post I decided to put together ideas using the Color of the Year, Emerald! What a glamorous choice of colors for this year! Whether it is emerald pants or a simple addition of emerald earrings, the color is a beautiful choice for any session. Today I am going to focus on Senior Sessions.
I put together a collection of great outfits that include Emerald.
These cute Spring/Summer choices are getting me excited for warmer weather. Class of 2013 it isn’t too late to book your March or April session.
Don’t miss out! Contact me at info@kristiebradleyphotography.com to book.
Emerald!!

For the February, March and maybe even early April sessions this is a perfect choice! Layers are always great! I love the little touch of emerald through accessories!

Don’t need the sweater because your Senior session is in April or June, then try out these super cute Emerald skinny jeans!
I also love the addition of the aviator sunglasses!

And for the summer sessions I love this very casual outfit with a pop of emerald through a cute messenger bag!

Want to go a little more girlie? Try some emerald heals!

Or, go super subtle and add your color with a chunky necklace. Classy!

Sweet Claire{13 Months}

Posted on November 2, 2012

Claire’s Mom and I talked a few times on the phone before her session and I was so excited to finally meet the sweet family.
Claire is a darling, then 13 month, girl with big blue eyes and the sweetest smile. She was starting to chatter and was telling me all kinds of stuff during the session. I just loved chasing around after her in her Grandma’s handmade sweater and then a holiday bow outfit. It was the perfect combination for a fall/holiday session. We even got some shots with the bow(very stubborn bow) in her hair!

Enjoy these sweet images and don’t forget to sign up for your family mini session on November 10th. Only a few spots left!

PARTY! {1st Birthday: Ice Cream Parlor Theme}

Posted on June 28, 2011

I cannot believe it has already been a year! My little boy is one and growing fast!
For his party I decided to have an ice cream parlor theme.
Color scheme: Red, Aqua/Light Blue, Black and White. Everything was based off of the invites and of course ice cream!

Thanks to my AMAZING Mom we created this ice cream scoop cake! Super easy and fun:)

We also baked ice cream cone cupcakes!

What is an ice cream party without ICE CREAM?! I love balloons, so of course we had to add them to the mix.
Also included in the menu were licorice, crushed Oreos, mini marshmallows, sprinkles, chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup and whip cream for toppings.
Food was provided by The Sandstonion and included pulled pork, chicken salad and cole slaw. We also had fruit salad, rolls, fruit punch and good old fashion sodas!

The favors were ice cream containers filled with candy!

Another sweet treat we had were sugar cookies that looked like ice cream scoops.
When I saw these online I knew they had to be a part of the menu. Don’t they look real?!
