Love and a Baby{Sarah & Scott – Maternity}

I was ecstatic when Sarah emailed me and asked if I would be available for maternity pictures! Her and I met while teaching and coaching soccer and Scott is also a teacher. The three of us are counting down the days until our summer break, but they have even more to count down to. They are expecting baby W in June! From experience I can tell them that June is a wonderful month for a baby to be born:)

Thank you Scott and Sarah for sharing an evening with me  and I cannot wait for your little guy’s arrival!

The Winners!{A Family Session}

This sweet family was the winner of my 2011 Favorites Contest. I was so excited to finally meet them! Between weather and our busy schedules we had to move the session around a few times, but when we finally met it was a perfect day. They showed up with awesome outfits and perfect colors for the location.

Loved the color in this session, but this black and white is a favorite!

News{Lemonade & Lenses – Cover Contest}

This post is more for the photographers, but there is some fun eye candy in the link and exciting news for our Spokesmodel, Emily!
A few months ago I came across a photography magazine, called Lemonade & Lenses. This beautiful and inspiring magazine is offered digitally and printed.
It is dedicated to providing a wealth of amazing content and eye candy to photographers.

Last month one of my images was chosen as an honorable mention for the May Issue Cover Contest {Weddings}. I also have a bouquet image inside the magazine(I will share that when the magazine comes soon!). I was thrilled to be among so many other talented photographers and chosen out of over 500 images entered into the contest!

This month the contest was for the June Issue featuring Seniors. My favorite! I entered knowing the competition was tough. Today when I saw the honorable mentions I was wowed by all the creative and beautiful  images, not surprised though. I was bummed I didn’t make it into those top images this time, but felt like the images chosen were awesome. Fast forward a half hour or so and they announced the winner of the cover contest. As I looked through the post, oohing and ahhing over the winners I came across MINE. I had received second place!!!Some of you may think, you didn’t  win, but I was elated. What an honor to make it all the way to second place out of so many amazing images! The winner was stunning and clearly is perfect for the cover, but to be runner up to it is an honor.
I want to thank Lemonade and Lenses for the opportunity to submit and share our work!
